After a rousing 2 meetings with Ad and ML I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready to relax and have a gentle easy read and that's what I think The Mighty Queens of Freeville by Amy Dickinson will be. I just finished it and I found it full of warmth and goodness and people and families helping each other through good times and tough times. I'm eager to hear what you think at our next meeting.
It will be at Queen Tracey's home, 309 Beauregard Ave, Sulphur on Wed Sept 29. 5 pm. Amy Dickinson will SKYPE in to visit with us from her front porch in Freeville, NY
We will need a volunteer to be discussion leader
Food: Besides cake left over from ML which I froze and it's waiting for you, need at least 2 volunteers
Some of you have already turned in your scrapbook pages and they are great! Phyllis H. has offered to help if you need some assistance. Bring your completed scrapbook page (complete or incomplete) to our next meeting and let's see what it will look like all put together.
We will also be collecting between $5-$10 per member for the extra expenses for the past 2 meetings. Bring your dollars and your receipts to the meeting and we'll settle up.
Also, this is a biggie, Ad and ML both asked that if you care to please leave a review on amazon.com or any other site that allows reviews. It helps with their publishers and marketing people. Speaking of Amazon, we already have earned $10 + for next year's trip to Nicaraugua.
